To interact directly with and provide varying support to multiple cross-functional teams including Sales Management and Field Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.  The Away From Home Business & Sales Support Analyst will assist in the administration of business and sales data including; collection, interpretation, development and presentation of, to management.  Responsible for the reporting and analytics development used to manage the activities and effectiveness of the AFH sales organization. 


Key Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the direct preparation and overall accuracy, and timeliness, of regularly occurring, standard, custom and ad hoc sales and business reports
  • Support Sales & Marketing Management in analyzing new and existing business opportunities to include but not limited to RFQ’s, pricing, sales-to-objectives, historic sales data, competitive landscape, AFH market conditions and required and identified information input
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate, and report data in order to increase AFH sales effectiveness and
  • Monitor and maintain performance data files of the AFH Sales Regions, Districts, and Territories, and provide summary highlights, and general recommendations of opportunities
  • Track and monitor business KPI’s for the assigned departments, as directed
  • Administer index competition, incentive plan, and cross-sharing events in cooperation with business management
  • Prepares sales forecasts, collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales volume and demand planning; provide data to Production, Planning and Inventory Control, in cooperation with AFH Sales Management
  • Calculate, build and provide bonus payout data for Sales Management and Senior Business Leadership for review and approval, and coordinate communication with AFH Sales team post-approval process
  • Routinely work with and communicate with Sales Management, Field Sales Team, Marketing Management, Customer Service, Finance and Production Planning personnel.
  • Perform other position-related duties as requested or assigned
    • To keep oneself updated on or regularly aware of advances in technology, software, reporting innovations, etc. as they pertain to the job function of analyst   


Job Requirements

Education and Experience Background

 

EDUCATION

  • A. S. or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited University preferred course of study in Accounting or Finance, or related field(s) or equivalent practical / professional experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years directly preparing daily, monthly, and quarterly reoccurring, custom and ad hoc business analysis and sales reports 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Excel, PP, Word
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com, SAP BO & SAP R3
  • Proven ability to prioritize initiatives to meet deadlines and multi-task projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills including complex and time-sensitive data analysis with a proven ability to forecast, build analytics, and improve reporting processes 
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization
  • Able to self-manage and work independently, remotely or under direct supervision
  • Must be a team player with ability to work across multiple teams to achieve goals
  • Strong attention to detail and organization while being flexible and nimble
