According to the Green Sports Alliance, the annual Green Sports Alliance Summit is the largest and most influential sustainability gathering for the professional and university-level sports community. The event brings together more than 800 industry stakeholders to learn and share better practices and the latest innovations in greening operations, advancing the supply chain, engaging fans and more responsibly managing sporting facilities.
Recognizing the influence the sporting industry has on regional and national communities, as well as the need to focus on sustainable public spaces, the Alliance is dedicated to fostering a dialogue with stakeholders and fans about environmental stewardship.

Each year, the Summit highlights the most innovative ideas around professional and collegiate sports greening via a dynamic mix of leadership plenaries, keynotes, how-to workshops, town halls, story-telling sessions, networking events and venue tours.

The Green Sports Alliance leverages the cultural and market influence of sports to promote healthy, sustainable communities where we live and play. Alliance members represent nearly 300 sports teams and venues from 20 different sports leagues and 14 countries.
